The artist is currently exploring the social phenomena of free expression and imposed constriction. Relevant at every level of society she has chosen the human body as the most appropriate medium with which to work.

Her clay figures have emerged from a process of examining her chosen medium. More familiar with painting and drawing she has used sculpture as a means to see differently.

Working at a small scale and with only her hands she became aware of a sense of power and with it, a responsibility and tenderness for her nugget-like creations.
